Faculty
Jaclyn Brewer-Poole owner and director, grew up in Carrollton and Farmers Branch, graduated from Newman Smith High School, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School in New York City. She has taught at well established dance studios since 2008 and has been an integral part in the pilot process of the elementary school dance program and middle school dance program in CFBISD. She opened Collective Arts Center in the summer of 2022 and has served hundreds of young dancers. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Jaclyn loves to spread the joy of dance and serve our future generations of learners.
Professionally she danced internationally in Spain and Canada, along with local DFW companies including Bruce Wood Dance, Ballet Dallas, and Avant Chamber Ballet. She has worked with a number of choreographers, most notably, Bruce Wood, Bryan Arias, Kimi Nikaidoh, Joy Bollinger, Robert Battle, Doug Varone, Eliot Feld, Jessica Lang, and Ohad Naharin; along with performing works by Antony Tudor and Twyla Tharp. Jaclyn is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique level 1.
Jaclyn has taught students who have appeared no So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance, Dancing with the Stars, and Little Big Shots. Additionally, students have gone on to attend esteemed college dance programs including: The Juilliard School, USC Kaufman, NYU, Purchase College, Chapman University, Point Park University, University of Arizona, Oklahoma University, Texas Tech University, Arkansas State, Kansas State, TCU, SMU, UNT, TWU, Kilgore Rangerettes, and Apache Bells. Students have danced professionally around the world including with companies: Ballet Hispanico, Collage Dance, Kansas City Chiefs dance team and the Jacksonville Jaguars dance team.
